Water cycle--energy from sun transfers heat energy to surfaces.  Water evaporates, rises, cools and condenses into clouds.  When air becomes saturated, water falls to the earth in form of precipitation.

Warm water increases the rate of evaporation because the water has more energy available to the surface molecules to break "bonds" and jump ship.

Clouds need water vapor, dust, and a heat transfer for water vapor to condense.  Will not easily form in high pressure areas.  Will easily form in low pressure areas.
