la_notetaking.gif  Don't forget as you are preparing for your Midwest test, to find facts you might use for the essay topics first, then create the categories for organizing them--vacation or moving family there.  I have updated the voicethread a bit--I forgot to include clauses and phrases, and nouns.  I will have some sample questions on the board in the morning which will be very much like what you will find on the grammar review test.  Take the time to do them in your daybooks!  Don't forget your fruit tomorrow!

Mrs. Moore,

On the Poetic Language Chart how do you say what your facts are. Do you just say Crazy Horse Monnument, or do you say something like Workers blast through rock with dynomite to build the Crazy Horse Monnument.

Thanks, David

Not sure why you are having trouble with typing--were you able to get onto the site and look at the show but not type in a comment, or could you not type in your "email" and "password" in the voicemail box?

Dear Mrs. Moore,

On the notecard, do we just put stuff on it that we have trouble with, or can we put other things too. Is this notecard the same thing as the comma test notecard only different things?

Thank you,
India
