Snow Day, Hooray!!
Hope everyone is having an enjoyable day off of school!  I have been experimenting with some remarkable software which I hope we can use in class for exciting ways to interact with our material.  Because of the snow, we will delay our Midwest test a day.  Grammar review test will still be Friday.  Please review your notes to help you be prepared.  Look back over the blog archieves to find practice exercises for grammar.  Learn your states, capitals, and waterways for the Midwest.  Read over your packets, paying special attention to the video notes and vocabulary on the first page or two, and the connect 5 grid that has the questions filled in--you find the answers.  Think critically about what information would be helpful to answer questions about activities in the Midwest.  See you tomorrow--maybe!!

Ashley, yes, the poems are both due when we return. Just ask yourself if the poem flows well. Is it ease to read? If so, you are fine!
