Hi folks!
Today, we introduced the different types of subjects--simple, complete, compound, and compound complete. We worked with elevating our writing through Styling Super Sentences (SSS), and transition words.
Homework tonight: DO NOT spend more than 10 minutes trying to identify the types of subjects you used on your rainy paragraph. This is just an introduction to the various types, and to help you QUICKLY see what you are using.. If you are having trouble, don't worry!! Just stop. We will have lots of easy practice tomorrow.
Use your Styling Super Sentences sheet, create one new sentence for each of the 3 strategies we learned today (only the first side!!)
Bring in a photo of a moment for which you have strong memories.
Have a great evening!
Mrs. Moore

for the sentence idenifying of the subject paragraph do we just write what type of subject is the subject for each sentence?
Yes, that is all! If you can't figure it out, don't worry about it. I just wanted you to give it a try. NO MORE THAN 10 minutes on this!)
