Reviewing sentence fluency!
Try this video to learn more information about conjunctions which will help you determine whether a clause is independent or dependent (you can ignore the correlative conjunctions for now):
Tonights homework wasSentence Fluency in the yellow packet pg. 4. I am confused on question 2. Is the mistake in the sentence and instead of but? Please let me know.
I want you to circle the incorrect part of the sentence. Then you may choose either to rewrite it correctly, or write the rule which is being broken--which ever will help you the most!
