Descriptive Writing piece is due tomorrow.  You should have 2 printed copies for tomorrow:   size 12, Comic sans, 1 1/2 spacing, proper heading, title, and WILF from page 21 of Sub/Predicate booklet.  Make sure you have the picture to attach to one of the copies.  We will be turning these in DURING morning work time so we can post them on the outside board.  As you are doing your final draft, Reread the examples on pages 22 and 23.  Is your writing better than this?? Don't forget you have your 5th grade word bank to use AND on the right side of the blog under educational links, you can find a sensory word bank as well!  Use a variety of subjects to help keep interest.  Make sure you incorporate our sentence starters and sentence variety!  Can you identify at least 6 advanced vocabulary choices?  Have you eliminated "linking" verbs?  Have your parents read the piece outloud to you.  Do your sentences flow?  Can you draw a complete picture of where, when, how, what, thoughts, colors, senses.....I am looking forward to reading these!

Make sure you have your power plan for writing tomorrow!
