Test on Lessons 3 4 and 5 in Social Studies.

Tools-- guide o ramas, lesson summaries, sticky notes, capitalism video notes (just concentrate on the benefits of free enterprise/ down sides at the bottom of the page), jeopardy sheet--can you give 3 or 4 facts about each region;  study guide, book.  It is very straight forward.  Just read the questions carefully.

Vocab study ideas:

Being able to think about who might use/do the vocab words, or where they might be found is a fabulous way to think about the test.  A fun way to study is to play pictionary.  Draw for your parents for a few, and then let them take a turn.  If you can draw the image clearly enough, what you are really doing, is using  the equivalent of context clues to help you solve which word it is (and visa versa).  There are 2 analogies on the test--I showed the technique today --before they do anything with the analogy, find the relationship between the complete pair given.  Then write that same relationship over the top of the word without its partner so that the focus remains on the relationship of the sets of words.

Get a good night's rest tonight.
