Happy Week-end, Everybody!

Fine work on State Reports.  By Monday, you should have finished the draft of Geographic Features (should have turned that into me today), and have roughly the following done:  notes for remaining 2 elements plus a power plan OR notes for one element plus power plan and beginnings of your draft for that component.   Don't forget to look at your guidelines if you aren't sure you are including the correct information.  It is written there for you.  You also have some sample parts of different component's essays in the power writing packet to use for ideas and guidance.

Don't forget your science quiz on Monday!  I believe your topic is moon and eclipses??  Study your notes...if you left your notes call a friend, use the internet, be self reliant!

Pink HeartsFinally, don't forget Valentines on Monday.  Our party will be during study hall in the afternoon.  You may decorate a shoebox or bag if you would like.  I will also have bags with hearts for those who do not wish to be creative this week-end!

Mrs. Moore,

It turns out that I didn't need the A worldbook for the Alamo, because there was the exact same thing on worldbookonline. Also do we need to have to use internet, worlbook, and a book for each page or should we just try to use each one?

Hi David!

Ideally, you should check for facts from 3 sources throughout your paper. This does not mean that you will find something from each type of source for each section, but you should definitely look. If you are going to the hockey game, I'll see you there!
